The clouds lifted for a few hours this morning so I grabbed the opportunity to get some pictures. The snow is much lower than it's been for a few years and more is forecast to fall over the weekend! It has also fallen on areas which normally do not get snow. Hopefully we will be able to get some pictures over the weekend, as long as the clouds give us a break!
I'm from Tulbagh, Western Cape, South Africa. Tulbagh is a small farming community.
Get Pushed Challenge: I have been doing this challenge on and off...
@salza - No, but the neighbouring towns have, Nieuwoudtville, melted quickly. Yes, Springbok and Graafwater (Pakhuispas). I drive on a gravel road to work daily (muddy and sliding). Have to drive very slowly.
sally, this is stunningly beautiful! so Nat-Geo-ish! i love it! i'm betting your cold over there is not as our cold in here (during our fall/winter season). so far we're having humid weather which is not good for migraine.
Another beautiful capture- makes me think of the Alps with the way it's jutting up into the air (not that I've actually seen the Alps in person mind you, so I could be totally wrong!). Great shot. Stay warm!!
