Spiced

For Throwback Thursdays - a throwback shot, This is a shot that I'm re-doing. Original shot is here: http://365project.org/salza/365/2011-11-24 I have used the same grouping of spices and the same wooden board.
Wow! What a difference between then and now! Fab shot Sally.

I agree with Paul and Gaz there is a really big difference Sally. This image has a much more thoughtful composition and the pov and focus are really good with great dof too. I see you have almost completed two years, amazing.

So much more interesting and eye catching than the first...hope I will see the same growth in my work!

Wow, you have come a long way since you first tried this shot. I think the DOF is great but if you would like a little constructive criticism I think the white line, (is it lemon grass?) and the second cinnamon stick a little distracting. If I were doing it again I'd lose those and maybe a few of the blurry seeds at the front. Hope you don't mind me saying ….. Still, fantastic improvement on last time.

@pennyp Penny I do agree with you regards the blurry seeds at the front and maybe the lemon grass although I don't find the two cinnamon sticks a problem. Thanks for your comment, I really appreciate it!
