For the camera settings challenge (csc-35) - get off Auto. Used the Sunny 16 Rule. Struggled a bit with exposure, maybe the fact that I had a polarising filter on made a difference.

Get Pushed Challenge: I have been doing this challenge on and off...
Wonderful colors and textures! The setting really worked well for this. I tried this setting all weekend while in Colorado where the sun is really bright and consistently had trouble with sufficient lighting. I do think it was the polarizing filter as my mountain shots using a different lens (and no polarizing filter) did work. I seem to remember Mike saying to take the polarizing filter off, but it didn't occur to me all weekend. No wonder I couldn't get enough light!
Love all the shapes and shadows. I always find when on manual I need to underexpose by one stop when taking the shot then bring out the shadows in post processing, otherwise all the highlights are blown out.
Great job! Is that a person sitting back there in that window? I like how the edge of the mountain range has a texture to it that mimics the texture of the boat.
