Heard the calls of Blue Crane so went outside to have look. Saw this group of 14 Blue Crane circling above our house. Unfortunately didn't get a chance to change lenses so they are not nearly as close as I would have liked. Decided it is a good luck omen as there were 14 of them on the first day of 2014!

@ribbet9 They do quite often. We have seen groups of 30 to 50 at times. They breed in our area so we are very lucky to see them almost on a daily basis!
