Nice capture- love the pattern of the railing and the angles of the staircase. This shot would have a totally different feeling in color. It looks so elegant and regal this way. Great shot.
@espyetta having had such a wonderful response to this shot I feel I have to admit that I stood at the bottom of the stairs, snapped one shot, decided I didn't like it and that lighting etc was all wrong so I would leave it. Thankfully I didn't delete it. After downloading I thought I'd see how it handled a b&w conversion and lo and behold this is what I got!
