Get Pushed Challenge: I have been doing this challenge on and off...
Great choice of aperture f/14 on this bad boy here. So sharp. Nice foreground elements and great focal point in the distance. Super awesome layers, and great composition. The subject I feel is the sky, but the foreground gives it depth and scale, while the distant mountains give interest to the shot. Nice freaking job. FAV.
Only few questions: tripod or handheld? And do you have a focal distance scale on your lens? Or shot landscape mode? Asking because I have extremely bad luck with long landscapes like this.... and I have no focal distance scale on my lens.
@adambralston Adam, this was handheld using my 18-55 kit lens so no focal distance scale. I have no idea about this scale so I will be doing some research later! I use aperture mode (seldom use anything else!). I have tweaked levels, curves and cropped slightly
