That's spectacular! The very best moon rise I ever saw was while we stayed with friends in Australia, and we watched the moon rise over the ocean! I suppose there are ways to plan for such things, but how lovely to encounter them...like a gift!

@ericdibosco we get a fair amount of snow. In fact these mountains had snow on them on Tuesday morning but it melted during the day.
