Get Pushed Challenge: I have been doing this challenge on and off...
Wow, what a great start - looking forward to the rest! Did you do this in Lightroom? Apart from the very strong and simple composition, the processing, I think, is superb to highlight the daisy against the background.
Beautiful b/w! I was trying to set the camera to black and white today and got myself so turned around I don't know how to get it back to the way it was originally set up! I love the detail in the center here.
i meant to do a month of black and white but as usual i got distracted. must do it next month. i like the way you cropped this and the lighting is superb!
@olivetreeann I hope you have managed to sort the camera out! Since I shoot in RAW with jpeg I seldom change the camera to monochrome. I do try to remember to leave the camera in a neutral setting. I've had the problem of having the wrong white balance so I had a hundred odd pics that all had a blue tinge! Basically had to change all to b&w. That mistake was really what pushed me to shooting RAW.
@olivetreeann I have a suggestion Ann, I saved the .pdf file for my camera's manual on my PC, my tablet, and phone too. It's always easiest to look something up when you can search by word(s).
@salza Thanks Sally! I did manage to get it back in to working order- mostly be rereading the intro and watching an overview on the different buttons and what each one does. @bill_fe Thanks Bill- yes, I did download the manual into my laptop (I don't have a tablet). I've found a pretty decent video series on YouTube. The combo of that and the manual should help a lot.

I love this, the b&w brings out the beauty of the flower.
