Decided to try my hand at some levitation photography. I think my background might be too busy and that I should maybe have darkened the shadow. Oh well lesson learnt for next time!
I'm from Tulbagh, Western Cape, South Africa. Tulbagh is a small farming community.
Get Pushed Challenge: I have been doing this challenge on and off...
Hi Sally - Great photo.
I've not tried this yet (on the list), but maybe it's the angle of the photo? (I.e. take from lower down so you can see "daylight" between your feet and the ground?) Love the different styles in your phtoos, by the way.
@nicknac thanks Nick. The idea of a lower pov may well work. It's not quite as difficult as I had imagined it to be. It's taken me ages to try it as I have a serious aversion to selfies! Plus a lack of willing models.
@bill_fe thanks Bill. I have done a few selfies over the years I have been here. This is the second one this month, although the first was a double exposure shot.
@salza Hi again, Sally. I know exactly what you mean regarding selfies and willing models! You are braver than me - but I think I'll have to bite the bullet soon and give it a whirl.
By the way, thank you for the follow. I am always happy if people visit my project, view and comment. So, thank you for your interest!
Perhaps you're getting used to the selfies with a spoonful of sugar! Good job on the levitation. Still trying to figure out what kind of shot I'm going to do with it. But after my success with the multiplicity picture, I want to give it a try. Fun shot!
@sjodell I am not overly enthusiastic about them but sometimes I want to experiment something and a human is needed. I has less than no chance of The Boy offering to be my model or helper!
I don't understand the levitation photography so can't comment on that.
