For my get pushed challenge from Lover of the Light @loverofthelight - 'I challenge you to photograph a stranger, with or without their knowledge'
I went out horse riding this morning and these two sisters came long. I met them at the ride and asked if I could take their pictures. Struggled a bit with the harsh sunlight.
I'm from Tulbagh, Western Cape, South Africa. Tulbagh is a small farming community.
Get Pushed Challenge: I have been doing this challenge on and off...
It's nice- it's tough to ask someone you don't really know if you can take a shot, so I know you wanted to be as quick as possible. I think if you'd had a little better lighting you wouldn't have that shadow across her face, but it's good. She seems very relaxed.
Given the minimal dark colors she's wearing , the sun really sets off her skin tones, and then you have the green backdrop. It's a beautiful photo! What a ovely girl...a nice subject choice!
