I was looking through some folders on my computer and I found these pictures of Skye that were taken when she first came home.
On the left is her with my then 12 year old GSD, on the right her first meal in her new home. That bowl is tiny, a bit larger than a cat food bowl.
I'm from Tulbagh, Western Cape, South Africa. Tulbagh is a small farming community.

Wonderful stuff. It is nice to have these photos - I was looking for a picture earlier and came across one of our cat, Nellie. Nellie was two but disappeared in the summer. She is much missed.
@gooner46 sorry to hear about Nellie. Didn't you have two kittens, around the time Ralph was a puppy? I'm sure I can remember thinking you were very brave having kittens and a puppy at the same time.
@salza That's right - Nellie and Martha. The cats were a few months older. They kept well clear of Ralph, worried bout his size. Martha was very upset about losing her sister. A sad business.
