Get Pushed Challenge: I have been doing this challenge on and off...
@365projectlinda Lindy it's done using layers in Photoshop. You copy and resize the original picture to fit, adding a layer mask to reveal the fingers. This picture is made up of 5 layers.
I knew this was yours Sally!! You are so creative with PS!! I wish I could it beside you and watch you creating these images!! I am sooooo lost in PS at the moment!! Layers are defeating me and after trying 3D having seen Taffy's fab images I am even more confused. I went down a wormhole I think!! LOL!! Hoping to get some tuition week after next!! Fingers crossed!! Fav!
@pamknowler haha Pam, I watched some 3D tutorials and have no idea what is going on! I think I need to find a day or two to play around with it. I do however find layers fairly simple. I will post some links for you sometime over the next few days. I would love to get some tuition as I am totally self taught. There could well be tools available that could make things easier.
Great use of layers to create this! Re 3D, I found the tutorials to be too much information for what I was trying to do. Easier to just muck about. Which of course means there's a limit to what I'll be able to do with it. I think to use it really effectively would take more time that I currently am willing to put into that particular filter. @salza@pamknowler
Very clever. I love it. I have been having a play with photoshop too this week. don't get much free time these days, so it was lovely to have a bit of time to play. fav.
This is so creative and cool. Fav! I am your get pushed partner for this week, and that in itself is a challenge for me - to come up with something you haven't done!! However I have come up with one : playing with water. How does this appeal to you? Any way you would like to interpret it or execute it - just have some fun. :-)
Oh! Quite wonderful! I see you've had some play time as a quick glance at the thumbnail clips showed! My hat's off to you for this superb example! And (hopefully), best of all, you had heaps of fun doing this!
