Storm Damage by salza

Storm Damage

Just a journal shot taken of my garden on Wednesday morning. Some large branches were down but thankfully fell without damaging anything. Not easy to see in this picture but it was raining when I took the picture. The storm arrived during Tuesday night, bringing gale force winds and some rain. The wind took down the main power line to our village and left us without power for nearly 48 hours. We were also without any cellular network for around 36 hours. Some areas were without power for much longer than we were.

I'm glad you are ok after that storm. That is such a long time to be without power. We've gone through that before and it's no fun. It looks like, for the most part, your yard is ok. Stay safe and dry and warm.

Sally, I'm your get pushed partner for the week. I've been looking over your photos, and they are fantastic! You show a lot of creativity, and this week, since animals are a large part of your life, how about an abstract with one of them as the subject?

Glad to know you are ok and suffered little damage. We certainly understand that as the power in our area gets affected by downed trees all the time.

It must have been hard to be without electricity for that long, though glad the house and people were ok.
