Plant

I liked how this plant stood out. We had a sudden downpour of welcome rain. Te downpour lasted about 15 minutes. The garden got flooded, but not long after the rain stopped all the standing water had soaked away.
Gorgeous capture! fav

Great shot. We were hearing on the news the other night how bad the water situation is currently in SA. I do hope it improves soon.

Did I hear something about a terrible water shortage in your part of the world?

@francoise yes Francoise there is a major water problem in the vicinity. We are not as badly affected as Cape Town and surrounds are. Our town has its own dam but without regular rain our dam only holds around 4 months supply. We have quite strict water restrictions at the moment - although not as severe as Cape Town.

Great rim lighting and I like the softer focus too! So glad to hear you got some rain- I know how much you need it.
