Very nice. The shavings are perfect and the photo appears tack-sharp. I wonder if some more fill light, maybe reflectors, could get rid of some of the shadows (under the pencil, behind the shavings). Just a thought.

@dood14 thanks Eddie. This series of pictures was taken using purely natural light from a nearby window and a makeshift reflector ( sheet of tin foil).
