Bokkoms

Bokkoms are whole, salted and dried mullet, and are a well-known delicacy from the West Coast region of South Africa. These salted fish are dried in the sun and wind and are eaten after peeling off the skin. In some cases they are smoked. They are sometimes referred to as "fish biltong".

I like the raw "catch of the day" feel to this shot. The high key treatment feels like mid-day. Good shot!
