For today's prompt - Vintage
In the centre I a portion of the identity bracelet that my maternal grandmother wore during WW2. It shows her initial and surname plus her address. If I remember correctly the bracelet was made from pewter.
The sterling silver charm bracelet is one that my mother used to wear. All the charms have special meaning to her. She gave the bracelet to me at least 20 years ago.
The beaded necklace also belonged to my grandmother. The beads are made from butterfly wings set in resin. I have no idea how old the necklace is. My grandmother passed away in 2004 at the age of 96 years.
All these items are of great sentimental value and not items that I would wear.
I'm from Tulbagh, Western Cape, South Africa. Tulbagh is a small farming community.
