One way to deal with the ongoing power outages - recently we have averaged 8 to 10 hours without power on a daily basis. In the last week we've had a number of days where we have only had electricity for 4 hours during working hours - that is just not sustainable especially for small businesses and entrepreneurs

@bkbinthecity it can be a tad stressful dealing with 2 to 4 hour outages at least three times a day. @wakelys one learns to plan around the outages @Dawn so far we are happy with the installation @marlboromaam it is definitely a help. Now we just need to work out what appliances can be used when @radiogirl I think that we have gotten so used to the outages that it feels strange to have power 24/7 @dide mismanagement and lack of proper maintenance is one of the major reasons. In general one just learns to work around the outages albeit rather frustrating at times @onewing the first 24 hours have been very promising. Just need to figure out what appliances can be used when. @phil_howcroft definitely making a difference and we only 24 hours in. @theredcamera definitely the right way to go @seattlite the solar is working perfectly. Within the next few days or so we will figure out what we can use and when @maggiemae it is an expense but it will be so worth it, no more frustration or worry about fridges and freezers defrosting @ludwigsdiana our system will supply the whole house. We haven't connected the geysers, the stove and the main aircon at this time @jamibann definitely makes a difference @dkbarnett the outages can be frustrating and stressful especially when you are trying to run a business @francoise it was interesting to watch the guys working, they made being on the roof look so easy @loweygrace definitely makes a big difference
