My Get Pushed challenge this week was "self portrait". I have an aversion to being in front of the lens but thought I'd give it one more go. This is a reflection off the car window into the wing mirror.
I'm from Tulbagh, Western Cape, South Africa. Tulbagh is a small farming community.

I am so excited for you! The other is prettier but this one definitely evokes an emotion. I like it in b&w as it lends to an Alfred Hitchcock aesthetic like you are sneaking up on someone parked in their car and they don't notice you. Great suspense!!
Oh and I plan on doing my animal challenge tonight. I am actually allergic to animals so don't have any of my own. My sister graciously offered up her cat as my model. Didn't want you to think I forgot. :)
@egad LOL, you sure know how to get someone to stretch their boundaries! Had a worry that you might have an allergy and that I was asking the near impossible from you. I would be happy with a fish :-)
@salza well you did it quite successfully! Oh no worries. My sister has a cat and I have a zoom lens! It will be a fun challenge. He has been featured on here quite a few times as a frequent subject on her project, so he is used to being stalked with a camera!! @mcdougall
A very different outcome from the first one! I've never put any of the ones I've done in the mirror up (well, except for the first one where the camera is blocking my face!) because my expression is always so rigid and I look awful! This one is good in b/w- I like what your challenge partner said- very Hitchcock indeed!
