Another capture from my visit to Mountain Zebra National Park.

This black-backed jackal had caught a rodent (not sure what exactly!) for breakfast

This is just beautiful, Sally! I don't know if you have cropped already and what exactly your resolution is, but if the resolution allows, this image will be really stunning of you would crop quite a bit more from all sides, but leaving a bit more room on the left than the other sides, to make this black-back even more the star of the show. It looks very sharp to me, and having the prey in its mouth is such a big bonus!

WOW.. you got quite close to this guy. Luckily he already had his breakfast....glad he didn't feel your were going to steal it from him. Great close up shot...and great timing with his breakfast in his mouth!!

This is good too, but obviously the tighter crop is more exciting because of the detail you see in what he's caught (poor thing- what a way to go!).
