For my get pushed challenge from Kathy @kathyboyles - For your challenge please use shadows as the key to the photo.
Our village is hosting an Art Festival this weekend. I am exhibiting some of my photos. Whilst I was waiting for someone I noticed the shadows formed by the wrought iron name plate of the building where my exhibition is being held.
I have played around with the editing on this one to give it a yellow colour. The wall is a tatty white and not very inspiring at all!
I'm from Tulbagh, Western Cape, South Africa. Tulbagh is a small farming community.
Get Pushed Challenge: I have been doing this challenge on and off...
Nice use of shadows! So we have been matched up again as get pushed partners. (last time I believe was in June).
So as I typically like to do I have a couple challenge options for you.....
1) I saw your photo of the car but I want to challenge you to take it a step further. I want you to take a photo of a car, motorcycle or some type of vehicle showing it off as you would in a magazine. What I mean by that is show the quarter panel of it, or the front, or rear - show some chrome, etc. but don't just take a picture of a car.
Option 2)
Back in 2013 I saw you did oil and water - I want you to try it again. You don't need a macro lens - you just have to be creative on how you can set this up (I used chairs, broom handles to hold the glass dish,
Option 3) Something sweet - other than your dog (hehe - I know what you were thinking)
@myhrhelper wow, Kathy that's quite a choice! I'm sure that I can come up with something, or even one of each! I shall be over shortly to set your challenge.
