The top picture shows the moon a few hours befre the start of the eclipse. The bottom picture just before the total eclipse. My pictures of the eclipse were not very good at all

@kwiksilver I should have hung around for another quarter to half hour as I missed the total eclipse. By this stage though I was cold, irritable and not happy with any of my pictures so I called it quits. The mutts were also getting ready to go on nut runs around the garden and I doubt that the neighbours would have been impressed!

i completely forgot that there was an eclipse. i thought it was just clouds hovering the moon when i glanced through the back of the car. i might have been shooting the eclipse and i didn't even know it. must check my little p&S to see. great collage, sally.
