We are expecting a big storm tonight (Tuesday) that will be around until Thursday morning. The wind is already howling and very heavy rainfall is forecast.

Get Pushed Challenge: I have been doing this challenge on and off...
@koalagardens@888rachel@littleconnie@farmreporter@tahoemb@golftragic@gigiflower we came through the storm relatively unscathed. We were without power for almost 48 hours and had no cell phone reception for around 36 hours. Many areas experienced longer outages than we did. I take my hat off to those people who spent many hours out in driving rain and gale force winds working to restore the electricity supply.
@salza Good to hear you're OK though 48 hours without power is a bit tricky to manage. Totally agree about the workers who have to try to fix up electricity problems in any storm. How did the dogs manage the wild weather?
@golftragic Marnie, they were fine. All snug inside and only going out between downpours. Thankfully when the large branches came down they were inside, five minutes earlier they had been outside!
@salza That's very good to hear. I always worry about dogs in storms especially if there's thunder. I had a dog a few years ago who had to be given valium if a storm was coming. The vet thought I was exaggerating till she was treating the dog when it thundered!!
