Free Range

I like how these eggshells are different colours. I'm intrigued by the shells that have a blue tinge.

I had a little hen that would lay blue tinted eggs. Lovely Shot! Nothing like fresh eggs for breakfast, lunch or dinner. =)

Love this, nothing to beat free range eggs. We have a neighbouring cattle farm. He has coops with hens that he strategically changes regularly. They fertilize the field where the cattle graze. A win situation for all.

I was told by a friend who raised chickens that different-colored egg shells are due to what the chicken eats. But I don't know if that's really true or not. Good shot!
