Snow Moon-almost by samae

Snow Moon-almost

Tomorrow there will be a snow moon-midwinter moon or the second full moon of winter. The moon will appear about 10 percent larger than average. The Native American tribes of the northern and eastern US called this the Snow moon. Bad weather and heavy snows made hunting difficult, so this Moon was also called the Hunger Moon.

I plan to go out later today to see it rise, if weather/cloud cover allow.

Thanks for your comments on my Croz series and getting him on PP several times last week. Your time is always appreciated.
Beautiful scene

This is a pretty good shot of the moon in the daytime. We will be lucky to see the moon here in western Pa since our normal sky in winter is cloudy.
