Forgotten but still standing

I fear that this barn, which was probably a grand barn in its day, will not be here for long. The area is being built up with condos etc. It was so windy I was afraid to get too close.

Thanks for stopping by my project. Your comments and favs are so appreciated.
Another great detailed and sharp contrast image !

It does look rather fragile - like you could huff and puff and blow the house down! Lots of strong contrast here.

so glad you have taken a photo of it before it disappears forever.

Nice. Keep going back to get your fill while it still stands.

What a wonderful old barn, such a pity it is gradually disintegrating.

Nice find. It does not look to have much life left. Looks like a breeze could blow it over. It would have been fun to see it in her hey day.

Hang on there. I really like the quality of your black and white shots.

Nice find but you are wise to keep your distance - looks like a sneeze in the wrong direction might bring down this poor old barn - clearly it has seen better days. Really enjoying all your b&w shots :)

I like your serie on old buildings very much. The pictures are neat but remain mysterious in B&W, and I can imagine all stories on how life was there when these constructions were built and then used.
