Grumpy Hummingbird Patrol

Thank you ALL so much for your comments on my horse photos yesterday. Truly made my day.


I watched this guy as he sat perched on my seed bird feeder. He was on the lookout for other hummingbirds that might dare to visit the hummingbird feeders that are some distance away under the cover patio. As soon as a hummingbird would get close to the hummingbird feeders, he would dart over and chase them away. It amused me for quite awhile I'll have to say ! lol

Great capture with such crisp detail. They can be exceptionally territorial. I have two that have laid claim to our feeder. They bicker like children but in the end both enjoy our sugar. Fav!
