Snowy Poudre

Mid Morning stroll along the Cache La Poudre River in the Homestead Natural Area. Unfortunately the heron I saw would not stand still for a photo op.

I don't guess I knew you lived in Colorado until I looked up this river - one of my very favorite states (that and Montana). Spent a lot of time on the western side while my daughter lived there. I envy this nice icy winter scene.
