Oxford Road Sunset

I was on the platform of Manchester Oxford Road railway station this evening at just the right time to catch the sun going down behind the passenger bridge. I only had chance to rattle off a few photos before my train arrived, but I liked the lighting I caught in this one.

Sarah, it's a good 'un !!! One of the best you've posted. I really like the way the footbridge is illuminated.

I'm wondering if a little crop to take out some of the white sky just above the footbridge might emphasise the lighting on the bridge a bit more :)

This was a shot I nearly didn't take, cause I felt a bit self conscious getting my camera out on the platform - and I wasn't sure whether I'd be able to capture the light. Glad I gave it a go! :o)

Its a nice shot, the light and blur in the stairwell against the sharp clear on the platform makes it for me.
