I decided I might have a go at continuing the A-Z idea (although not necessarily in 26 straight days!) .. so as I was walking to work this morning I started brainstorming to myself. "B is for ... ball, bike, bus, builder" ... and within minutes I saw this baby bird on top of a hedge. At first I was baffled as to how it had ended up on top of a hedge - there was no tree above that it could have fallen from, the hedge couldn't support the weight of a cat .. then I remembered that magpies do take baby birds from nests. I guess this little one was snatched and then dropped :o( .. bit of a gruesome photo, perhaps ..

@dulciknit@fitzgibbon@annettea@rainbowsnic42@moominmomma Thank you for your comments, I did deliberate a little about whether to post a picture of a dead creature, but thought it might be more interesting than another picture of blossom - I've posted plenty of them! :o)
