I had lunch last week with a friend I've got to know since I've been living in Manchester. He's fun, a bit kooky, caring, generous, and really optimistic. He's a big believer in the power of manifesting, and the Law of Attraction.
He was talking about going to the Manchester Pride festival this year, and asked me if I was going along. I went along to the parade last year, but hadn't intended to go to the festival this year - partly 'cause money is a bit tight right now.
Anyway ... I got home from work tonight to find an envelope on my doormat, addressed to Sarah Horsfall VIP - when I opened it, a load of sparkly confetti fell out, and inside was a ticket to the festival and a note from 'The Fairy of Amazing Things' .. what a darling!!!
So, gratitude - for the generosity of a new friend, random acts of kindness, lovely surprises, and the chance to go along to a fab Pride festival!
