Today is the first day of my summer break from school - yay! It was such a joy turning my alarm clock off yesterday, knowing I won't be turning it back on until September :o)
The sun was shining today, so I took the newspaper to my local park, to read it in the sunshine. I kept being visited by ladybirds, who insisted on walking all over the paper while I was trying to read it! :o)
@amber_lacerta Cheers - I didn't know that! At one point I had 3 of them crawling over my hand and my newspaper, but this was the only one to stick around for a photo :o)
yey I'm on holiday too. I know you're in London but you've got me thinking now, what about this Manchester meet during the summer? coll pic also, I never saw a ladybird like this before.
@sarahhorsfall post a discussion I reckon, get Mancs on board, message those we know/follow and then just pick a date I think. I work in education as do a few others, makes sense to do it in the hols, but I have a second job. Wednesday or Sunday is my best days, sunday might be best. What would we visit in manc though?
