After lunch with my dad, I caught the train over to York to visit a couple of friends and their two daughters. They moved up from London in August, so this was my first visit to their new place. They live by the river, close enough to walk in to see some installations in the Illuminating York festival. As well as the lit-up Minster, we saw a great installation/show called Envisions, where fantastic projections were shown on the front of the Castle Museum.
