"Play energizes us and enlivens us. It eases our burdens. It renews our natural sense of optimism and opens us up to new possibilities."
Another photo from my office. During the school lunch hour I offer 15 minute slots to children who want to come along and talk about anything that's worrying them. Sometimes children come along who just want some quiet time to play, rather than being out in the sometimes overwhelming frenzy of the playground. The dolls house is always popular, with the furniture and figures getting re-arranged, or being used to tell me about lives real or imagined.
@sarahhorsfall ooh sarah, i normally pay so much attention to detail on pictures, but I missed the no stairs bit !!!....the two trapped in the bedroom are in for a long sleep then !!!
@sarahhorsfall ha ha sarah, i was going to say the two trapped in bed might be in for a fun time :) , but decided a 'long sleep' comment was more appropriate :)
The loo from the minimalist bathroom has featured in a previous photo - http://365project.org/sarahhorsfall/365/2011-02-10 - I'm starting to repeat myself!
