Short of trespassing so I could rummage around in people's sheds and back gardens, I wasn't sure how many ladders I would see - I did see some on the top of a van, but it was moving too fast to get a decent picture! I saw some ladders in a hardware shop, but they were brand-new, so they didn't count .. and then I saw this abandoned and neglected children's slide at the bottom of a garden .. so, not *quite* a ladder, but certainly old steps ... and it does look a *bit* like a stepladder .. so it's the best I could come up with :o)
well spotted sarah.......you could have snagged your tights / stockings and then you would have had a 'ladder' ...but maybe not an 'old' one ..:) ..sorry bad pun !
