I got back from my few days in Leeds late afternoon on New Year's Eve, with the intention of having a quiet night at home - I don't usually do much on NYE itself. But, within half an hour of getting home, I was invited to a party, and had arranged a lift over to Mossley. I dropped my bags, grabbed my toothbrush, and headed off to a spontaneous party!
There were 10 adults, 2 children, and 3 dogs. People brought different food contributions - one person was asked to bring some desserts .. and boy, did they bring some desserts!! LOL
@cgould@dulciknit The host (the other person reflected in the window) is a compete foodie, and he cooked up all sorts of lovely curry dishes for the main course .. so no-one had any room for any pudding!! LOL .. I did have a bit of chocolate trifle the next day, though .. as breakfast pudding :o)
@cmuir1963 ah, new year resolutions don't start til after the recovery from the new year party, in my world :o)
