So I think I'll be six now for ever and ever.
(from A.A. Milne, "Now We Are Six".)
Six is such a bittersweet age - no more chubby cheeks and dimpled hands, and sometimes there are glimpses of her older self peeking through. And then she melts down over the smallest problem and she's back to being six. :)
More work on composition, and attempting to use full manual settings on my camera. No flash, natural light coming from her left (stage right?)
@kph129 Thanks! I was really startled with exactly how grown up she looked in these pictures. Even being the middle child I still see her as my baby girl. And the green backdrop is my foyer wall! Hey, if you're going to paint something green, you may as well go all the way to Kermit the Frog green, right? ;)
