GLASS BIRD IN THE RAIN

Raining outside, which does not happen often in Bloemfontein in winter times. The only object of interest I could see is the glass LED light between the leaves and flowers of my lavender plants. Not much but I tried.

The ragged framing really puts the emphasis on the bird -- terrific photo!

And I applaud you for trying! I think this is great ... love the caption as well - it vaguely reminds me of a song (and if not, it SHOULD be a song!) I like the shallow dof with the lavender out of focus in the background. And great processing with the framing.

Thanks Gillian. Lots of time today we have "load shedding twice today (electricity). Now and tonight again. Ha ha!!!!!!

Eeeek re load shedding twice a day. So far we've been lucky and only had once a day. Usually from 4-6 pm. I'm investigating inverters, generators, and all sorts of things ;)
