@pyrrhula Winters very cold with little rain. Lots of frost and very cold at night. Below freezing point. We live in the Free State province and well known for the cold winters. We do not get snow. One in a vey long time it might start snowing here but not enough to make a white carpet. Think I have seen it twice in about 1960 and about 1996. Can't remember the exact dates, Our winter started early this year. We also refer to snow as kapok. Although I think it is slightly two different things.
@woodlandsphotog These flower are in a flower box . They do get water. They are also the type to plant them self everywhere and you do have to get rid of them. They are like weeds.
This is so pretty Sylvia, what a pretty view to look out at and see. Strange to think that you are heading into winter and we are just hitting spring with summer to come.
