Not much of a photo....Children left on Sunday back to the UK. My life to change from today. Hubby booked in an old age home and I will also have to move after staying 33 years in this house...
@maggiemae Thanks Maggiemae. I miss the friends on 365. Things just got to much, I do not have the energy to take photos anymore. I hope this is a better chapter in my life. He will book in on the 1st August and therefore there will be still time to spend with him.
I'm sorry to hear your news Sylvia. So many changes and such a lot of upheaval and sadness for you. We never know where our life journeys will take us but it sounds like you are doing things for the best. I hope the changes will make life better.
Hi, firstly this is a fabulous photo and I love the processing. So sorry to hear the back story. Photography will always be your friend and you'll get your mojo back eventually. Good luck to you and your husband. Believe it or not, change is good and you'll find somewhere else wonderful to live and your kids will always be there for you even if not physically. FAV
Oh, Sylvia. I am so sorry to hear about your troubles. You have done a terrific job of portraying it with this photo so I feel certain you will continue over time to keep up with 365
Oh Sylvia, such turbulent times for you. I hope hubby settles in the aged care home. He will get all the care he needs and it will be less of a strain on you too. Also hope you can settle soon in a new home. I am sure things will get brighter. Take care of yourself and hope you will pop in to 365 often.
This capture proves with the right eye it really is possible to get a great photo of a subject others wouldn't bother to snap. I love the processing too. So sorry to read times are so difficult for you atm. So much change is bound to be scary and moving forwards although providing exciting new opportunities also marks the end of other things which is sad for you. Take care and hang on in there!
@gijsje Thanks for caring and calling me a friend. I hope to take more photos and keep going after all is settled down. Must take a photo a day from now on. Can always look back at this last few weeks together.
All the best for you and your husband. Take all the time you need and make pictures when you feel up to it . Looking forward to your "pictures from a new chapter"!
I was so sorry to read this, what a very big upheaval in your lives. A very sad & stressful time for you both but hopefully your husband will settle well in his new home & you are happy in your new place too. All the stress you have had lately will hopefully subside & when you visit your husband you can be free to be relaxed & his wife once more & not his carer. Do keep us up to date with how you are both faring & we will be thinking of you. Take care.
A new chapter will start in your life now Sylvia and I sincerely wish you all the best. I know it will be hard for you, but “when God shuts one door, He opens another." I think of you often and pray for you and your family. Sending you many tight hugs, I can imagine that none of this has been easy for you at all.
Oh Sylvia, I'm so sorry for all you're going through. This is also a very poignant shot that tugs at my heart strings. I hope the new chapter in your life brings peace and better days, and that you will still find time for 365.
You have been a good friend on 365.
