I went with my daughter for lunch. I could not help and notice all the Xmas trees and lights. Although not in the spirit for this, I knew this is not what this time of year is about...

@quietpurplehaze Thanks. Yes it is difficult.. At least I know he is in a better place now without any pain. The last month of his live was with a lot off pain. So many bad things happened as well. At a later stage I will be able to share. Lets look at the beautiful photos and light up our day!
@sdutoit That is wonderful. This African Grey is my son-in-law's and he is very funny. He copies everything so accurately. Glad you have beautiful memories. Hold on to them. :-)
The Christmas spirit works differently for each of us. I like the cards as they are a way to share with others. Sometimes its the little things that make a day, like just a twinkle light can make me smile.
