Decided the best way to motivate myself into seeing things differently would be to force myself to use gear I hardly ever use (because I never liked the el cheapo extension tubes because they are so hard to use!). So I put my old almost broken kit lens onto the horrible extension tube and sat outside until I managed to get some shots I quite liked. Not perfect - but I'm seeing things I've never seen before like the extra detail in these little rosemary flowers. Now I'm feeling more excited again about more possible discoveries that have been hidden in plain sight.
