Looking after Gail's office again for 3 weekends while they are in Turkey. So unfortunately not able to visit my mother in hospital this weekend. Not sure why, but on a whim I threw my brother's old army boots in the car before I went to the office this morning. This morning was very busy, but late afternoon was quiet, and when I saw this stripey light happening on the floor as the sun got low I knew I had to get the boots out the car and try and set something up
@anniesue@bf2016 . Thanks Annie-Sue & Barbie. I used to avoid uneven light like this, and harsh shadows, but now I am finding it exciting. So maybe that means I'm growing as a photographer?
@narayani Thanks Narayani. Hubby came in and sat in the office this afternoon so I could go and visit my mother. She is very tearful at the moment, but at least I could take her a pillow from her bed, and the coke and apple juice she was craving instead of having only tepid water available.
