The best laid plans of mice and men

or something to that effect. Nothing went wrong with his shopping excursion to the local Super Spar this morning, but my plans for various photography projects went seriously awry. Thought I would have something different post tonight, but went to visit my mother earlyish this morning, but was so concerned about her I took her to Casualty so ended up sitting there most of the day. I have brought her back to the frail care with a whole bunch of antibiotics, and hopefully have averted the usual emergency visit to Casualty if I leave her with a developing chest infection which always causes extreme blood sugar highs and lows

@islambad couldn't help thinking about you while I stood there waiting to have her seen to, and wondering how your mum is. I don't regret the wasted hours....
I would regret it if something went wrong and i hadn't done what my gut told me was necessary

@homeschoolmom A regular bike is much more fun, I think. But for someone who isn't able to ride a bike for whatever reason, then this is rather nice for getting out in the fresh air
@narayani Thanks Narayani. She was looking a lot better yesterday, so I think I caught it in time
@pusspup You are so right..... and there may not be tomorrow for my mother if I don't look after her today
