Road Trip Day 1:-
Isolated on a hillside, some distance off the N1 (the main highway between Johannesburg and Cape Town), this old memorial can be seen by the observant motorist as they speed past on the highway. We have often spotted it ourselves in the distance, but never before taken the trouble nor had the time to try and get there. But on this trip we are not heading for Johannesburg and planned to stop here en route to our first overnight stop. So glad we did.
