Sent this photo in to the local little newspaper this morning, together with these few lines of text. I hope they publish it, mostly as a way of saying thank you to Bill and Doris.
Pets less fortunate than our own have been given a boost of pet food and cash donated to the Velddrif Animal Care thanks to the caring and community minded spirit of Doris and Bill Powell.
For her 70th birthday, Doris Powell requested friends and family to give pet food donations in lieu of gifts.
