It was my friend, Ron's, 80th birthday party this evening. At 80 years old he is still a grand old man and enjoyed dancing with his wife, Dawn and some of the other ladies, although he did say that now he can only do the orthopedic waltz
@365anne Thanks Anne. Yes, he is a very interesting old man (although I think most old people are interesting if we find the time to sit and listen - say's me who's no longer a spring chicken myself. LOL).
@narayani Thank you. He had a stroke a couple of years ago, but with Dawn's "tough love" policy of making him start doing things for himself, and the help of a close knit community who all pulled together to put up rails and chains etc. in his bedroom for him to hold onto, he is now almost normal again with just a slight limp. He still has a good sense of fun and a sharp and intelligent mind.
