More rain today. These nice rains means there are wonderful puddles lying around, and some of our dams are even overflowing. The average dam level has risen to about 70% so we still can't use water freely, but at least the crisis is averted for the time being.
@narayani hahaha - trouble is it will be dry in a few days, it is so shallow. But I loved the reflections in it. It felt so happy and lighthearted that I just had to shoot it @mona65 Yes you are so right about it being happy. There was an old house to shoot, but I couldn't wait for my hubby to move our vehicle out of my way when I got out so that I could shoot the puddle first! Hubby didn't seem to understand - the old house had been standing there since 1789 - it would stand there longer for me to shoot it. I just wanted that puddle! @ludwigsdiana Thanks Diana. Yes I agree, I am loving the puddles. They make me feel so happy @777margo Yes I believe you are also in the midst of a serious drought in Western Australia. I hope you too get some decent rains soon. Makes me sad to see animals dying through lack of water and food
@seacreature Hi Desi I live in S E Queensland & we need rain, but are not desperate. But the outback areas of Qld have a terrible drought at the moment
