Another photo from tomorrow at the guest farm ... looking out through a rather dirty window. You can see the coastal landscape here is really quite desolate and almost desert, and it has taken me a long time to start understanding and appreciating the desolation. But now when I sit on a verandah for example, and look across miles and miles of nothingness, I find a kind of peace and tranquility in it, somehow.
wonderful framing! I completely agree. My ideal road trip would be to drive cross country through the regions nobody goes to, where there's nothing but wide open space.
