People Watching

I was totally fascinated by this slender orange haired girl flitting around randomly on the beach and rocks like a butterfly flitting from flower to flower.
I wonder what was going through her head as she did this? Lovely shot and back story

@365anne Yes I was wondering too, so I would've loved to have spoken to her, but she seemed to avoid coming too close to anyone else.

What striking hair she has!

@suesmith Very striking. I'm sure it can't be natural but I do prefer it to some of the purple, pink, and green dyes I have seen

Beautiful shot, it leaves much to the imagination.

This is a splendid capture...particularly as she is completely unaware of your presence. She almost looks 'of another world', totally absorbed, yet calmed by the wind and the sea. I thought she was smiling at first, yet closer examination showed a strained expression. The flyaway tail of her garment is a serendipitous detail, which for me, adds another dimension.

@s4sayer Thank you Margo. I am so glad you are seeing in the photo what I felt and saw. You are right, her expression is not one of happiness, although I couldn't see her facial expressions with my naked eye at the time I was watching her. She seemed almost ethereal.

@narayani A free spirit indeed. There were some friends watching over her from the bench up on paved area. I realised they must be there for her when she went up to them briefly once before flitting on again, and when one of the group retrieved a pair of black boots from the edge of the beach which I assumed belonged to her.
